The location of this holiday home in Tynemouth is absolutely fantastic, just a short stroll from King Edward's Bay. We were delighted to discover it was also conveniently close to Sandhaven Beach, where we enjoyed soaking up the sun and building sandcastles with the kids. The ease of access to these stunning beaches made our stay memorable and enjoyable.
Stairs a bit spooky.

Huge place with stunning decor, ideal location next to restaurants & bars. Already booked next visit. Loved sitting in the kitchen with wine & music on the Sonos speaker.
Oh, just a few minor inconveniences - stained duvet, dirty sink, pots that weren't easy to clean. But hey, everything was great!

The bathroom in Peacock House was great! It had a shower and a hairdryer. It felt super clean and had a cozy vibe. As a disabled guest, I really appreciated the accessible shower.
I didn't love the layout of the bathroom, but that's just my personal taste.

Loved the beautiful interior and quirky design of the place. The comfy bed and gorgeous bathtub in the bedroom added a touch of luxury. The spacious kitchen and living room were a great feature, making it feel like a home away from home. The immediate response to a water leak issue by the host was impressive and showed great dedication to guest satisfaction. the location was perfect, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and bars, as well as convenient transportation options.
Bare floorboards were not to our liking, especially ones not meant to be exposed. The large industrial kitchen table and heavy 'ghost' chairs felt out of place.

The location was ideal, with easy access to both the town and the coastline. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable.
The only thing that could have made breakfast items better was if there were more options available.

This place is massive! Perfect for me, the queen of personal space. The location is amazing, just a short walk to all the cafes and bars. Already booked my next visit.
Oh, I just love stumbling on those short-stairs in old buildings. They make you feel so graceful, especially when you're as wobbly as I am.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem of a hotel. The pictures don't do justice to how spacious and comfortable it is for two people. The location is perfect, just a short walk from all the cafes, restaurants, and bars. The staff treated us like royalty and we've already booked our next visit. Our favorite room was the kitchen where we enjoyed wine and music on the Sonos speaker.
The only thing that could make breakfast better would be more vegetarian options on the menu.
