The location of this holiday home in Tynemouth is absolutely fantastic, just a short stroll from King Edward's Bay. We were delighted to discover it was also conveniently close to Sandhaven Beach, where we enjoyed soaking up the sun and building sandcastles with the kids. The ease of access to these stunning beaches made our stay memorable and enjoyable.

    Stairs a bit spooky.

Huge place with stunning decor, ideal location next to restaurants & bars. Already booked next visit. Loved sitting in the kitchen with wine & music on the Sonos speaker.

Oh, just a few minor inconveniences - stained duvet, dirty sink, pots that weren't easy to clean. But hey, everything was great!

The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in the area, and the proximity to the town and coastline was super. The space was huge for two people, ideal for those who love their personal space. The Sonos speaker in the kitchen was mind-blowing, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and some music. We have already booked our next visit!

Our recent stay at Peacock House was absolutely fabulous! The interior was beautifully designed, with quirky touches and all the home comforts you could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the luxurious bath in the bedroom. The kitchen and living room were fantastic, and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to Tynemouth and its surrounding areas. Despite a few minor issues, such as stained duvets and a difficult-to-clean pot, we had a wonderful time. we highly recommend this place for its stunning decor, great location, and comfortable amenities.

The interior of the place was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a peacock theme throughout. the bath in the bedroom added a touch of luxury to our romantic escape. It was also conveniently located, just a short walk away from the town center and the breathtaking coastline.

. We couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to work, despite trying to contact the host for assistance.

The bathroom in Peacock House was great! It had a shower and a hairdryer. It felt super clean and had a cozy vibe. As a disabled guest, I really appreciated the accessible shower.

I didn't love the layout of the bathroom, but that's just my personal taste.

This hidden gem in a quiet and safe area is the perfect location for exploring the nearby restaurants, cafes, and bars. With its fabulous decor and comfortable rooms, Peacock House offers a stunning yet cozy stay. the bath in the bedroom adds a touch of luxury, and the spaciousness of the property provides ample space for relaxation. the proximity to the town and coastline makes it an ideal choice for those wanting to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Some guests mentioned the presence of short height stairs, which could be a concern for those who are less steady on their feet.

Loved the beautiful interior and quirky design of the place. The comfy bed and gorgeous bathtub in the bedroom added a touch of luxury. The spacious kitchen and living room were a great feature, making it feel like a home away from home. The immediate response to a water leak issue by the host was impressive and showed great dedication to guest satisfaction. the location was perfect, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and bars, as well as convenient transportation options.

Bare floorboards were not to our liking, especially ones not meant to be exposed. The large industrial kitchen table and heavy 'ghost' chairs felt out of place.

We had an amazing stay at this hidden gem in the North East. The value for money was excellent, with a room that surpassed our expectations. The location was ideal, with easy access to both the town and the coastline. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable.

The only thing that could have made breakfast items better was if there were more options available.

This place is massive! Perfect for me, the queen of personal space. The location is amazing, just a short walk to all the cafes and bars. Already booked my next visit.

Oh, I just love stumbling on those short-stairs in old buildings. They make you feel so graceful, especially when you're as wobbly as I am.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem of a hotel. The pictures don't do justice to how spacious and comfortable it is for two people. The location is perfect, just a short walk from all the cafes, restaurants, and bars. The staff treated us like royalty and we've already booked our next visit. Our favorite room was the kitchen where we enjoyed wine and music on the Sonos speaker.

The only thing that could make breakfast better would be more vegetarian options on the menu.
